A Summer Solstice Blessing

from Hekate

On this day, we reach the height of the Sun’s power and presence.

The wheel turns. The days will now begin to diminish, and the dark starts its slow return.

Here, we stand at another threshold.

And Hekate is there; no torchlight necessary, only the mystery of the liminal space as we cross.

A bright summer vision of Hekate holding keys beneath a dominant golden sun, standing barefoot in a field of flowers with birds and sacred trees.
At the height of the Sun’s power, Hekate stands in her bright summer aspect, holding the keys of the threshold as the year begins its slow turn toward shadow.

As the fullness of the Sun radiates above us, witches know the balance of the year has shifted. We feel the subtle tilt toward the dark. We know that as the shadows grow longer, we enter again the holiness of change.

The light stands in its fullness and asks each soul what it is ready to become.

May the longest day find you,
not as a demand,
but as remembrance.

May the Sun pour gold
into the places within you
that forgot they were worthy of warmth.

May what has been hidden ripen gently.
May what has been burdened grow light enough to lift.
May what has been waiting hear at last the bright call of its own becoming.

On this day of flame and fullness, may your heart be a field
where courage rises like wheat,
where joy returns like bees,
where love stands unashamed beneath the open sky.

Blessings on the path before you,
the threshold beneath you,
the fire within you,
and the mystery around you.

May you walk forward with Sun in your breath,
earth beneath your feet,
and the knowing in your bones
that nothing true is lost.

It only waits
for the season of its blooming.
